Donor Dash - Be a Hero!

China is a student at USA and a Student Assistant in the College of Education (who we love very much!). She has organized this Donor Dash in honor of her younger brother, Tyler, who was killed in a car accident last year. Through his gift of organ donation Tyler was able to extend the life of others. We hope you will join the Donor Dash and help raise awareness of the need for organ donors.  

USA Common Read/Common World

Very happy to announce that USA will join a number of other outstanding universities and colleges with common book programs. Our "Common Read/Common World" program will begin in the fall and run through the 2013-2014 academic year. This year's selection is Half the Sky, by Nick Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn. I can't say enough good things about this book. You have to read it. As a bit of lagniappe, there's also a fantastic documentary which supplements the book.
